Maybe I Should Give Up for 2018

I’m about to officially give up on this year’s novels. Not because of the bad review that I have recently gotten for one of my Introduction Chapters. I can take a bad review. It’s because I didn’t get part two of the first chapter for my Wandita novel done today. I only got about a thousand words written today. Why haven’t gotten more written today?

There are several reasons why I haven’t gotten more words written today. One of those reasons is work. It was very busy at work today. I’m not surprised about that. It’s going to be like that for the next couple of months. Another reason is that I couldn’t concentrate on doing it today. Don’t ask me why because I don’t know. Maybe it’s because of the third reason. I wanted to write these novels in Third Person Present Tense. I’ve been thinking a lot about that lately.

I have been thinking about changing it to Third Person Past Tense. Which means another complete re-write for my Introduction and Chapter One chapters. That isn’t my only reason for the re-writes, though. I’d like to get a few reviews of both of my Introduction Chapters before I do them. I don’t get too many reviews. So, I don’t know when I will work on them again, but I do plan on finishing on them.

What am I going to do next? I’ve still got my scriptwriting contests to do for December. Especially, for The Daily One Scene Contest since it’s going to end at the end of this year. After I do them, I’m not sure what I’m going to do. If I knew what the WDC contest was for December I would start working on it.
