Because Nov. 23 until Dec. 22, is really Fall, I am referring to this as Un-Winter Cup

Old time Christmas
The harness gets pulled out
And the horses get ready
Its time to travel out and about
All the way to grandmother's farm.

The scent of wood smoke fills the air
Mixed with apple pies and roasted beef
A feast of bounty we will have there
Around the family table.

The tree adorned with ribbons and bows
And simple holy berries
Grandfather will surely doze
While the children play on the rug.

We'll light the candle
And sing songs into the night
I isn't more than we can handle
But good food and fun will fill us.

The Night Before Christmas will be read
We gather and stick very close
Just before we go off to bed
Visions of sugar plums dance in our heads.

Family love is very dear
It wraps around us like an envelope
Enclosed within this time of year
We wish you all wondrous good cheer.
