Istijlal (Majesty), 2 Masa’il (Questions) 175 B.E. - Thursday, December 13, 2018 "Humanity may be likened to a tree. This tree has branches, leaves, buds and fruit. Think of all men as being flowers, leaves or buds of this tree, and try to help each and all to realize and enjoy God’s blessings. God neglects none: He loves all." Divine Orchard Out of the soil of humanity, Sprouts the Orchard of God, From the hues of the rainbow, Is derived the spectrum of love. On A Chilly Thursday in Las Vegas It is a chilly, bordering on cold Thursday morning here in Las Vegas. I've consumed one cup of coffee, one bowl of instant oatmeal, and one raisin-cinnamon breakfast roll. I've begun to warm up; therefore, I'm going to pause in this entry because I have to check the mailbox. We finally received the key yesterday evening, and it was too dark and cold to check the box at that time. I got the mail, and there was nothing important. I'll have to go back later to pick up today's mail. Right now I'm on hold, waiting to speak to a customer service agent at the Social Security. I attempted to call the local office, but they won't let me through to a customer service agent. I had to call the other number, which means I'm on hold for, at least an hour. On the bright side, I can use the landline for the waiting time, and still get calls on my smartphone. Since the landline is next to the computer, I can work online while I'm waiting to talk to someone. Footnotes |
