Spring Dawn: Celebrating the Declaration of Baha'u'llah
Spring Dawn:
Celebrating the Declaration of Baha'u'llah

I have seen the dawn of God's new day,
Rising rosy over hills of gray,
And from the mountains lofty height,
caught reflections of God's eternal light.

Through the valley far below--
Still covered by the Winter's snow--
Echoes the Nightingale's call,
Announcing Spring's advent to all.

From behind the Garden's wall,
Comes the Nightingale's call,
greeting Divine Springtime,
In the speech sublime.

To God's Garden spring has come,
From His ancient root a tree has prung,
Within whose mighty branches rest,
The Nightingale's nest.

For those who have the ears to hear,
The Nightingale's message is clear,
This is God's word divine,
Signaling the resurrection of mankind.

For those who have the eyes to see,
The Gate1 stand open to humanity,
Inviting pure hearts in,
Immortality to win.

The Promised One has come at last,
The Glory of God2 is made manifest,
Unto perceptive eyes that see,
The attributes of divinity.
