Who is The Bab?
Who is The Báb?
The flame that glistened bright on Sinai's crest,
The Gate1 to humanity's salvation,
The morning star shining from east to west,
And he lamp of divine revelation.
The forerunner of the Glory of God2,
He announced the Day of Resurrection:
Born Siyyid `Alí Muhammad: The Báb.
