Naw-Ruz 176--
the beginning of a New Year
full of hope and joy.

The morning was cloudy,
clearing a little by afternoon
and the sun cam shining through:
the joy of a new and glorious day.

Today I am thankful...
          ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn today.
          ...for fresh brewed black coffee on this beautiful spring morning.
          ...that I was able to pay the March electric bill today.
          ...for the double chocolate doughnuts I have to go with my coffee.
          ...that I read this thought provoking article Atheism Is Inconsistent with the Scientific Method, Prizewinning Physicist Says   by Lee Billings.
          ...for the sunshine we received this afternoon, because it is always nice to see sunshine and shadows on a cloudy day.
          ...that I finished the article Spiritual Exploration for Atheists   by Maya Bohnhoff, which is the first in a series of articles about Questions from an Atheist about the Nature of God  .
          ...for the Arizona sweet ice tea I had with my supper.
          ...that I finished the article 5 Steps to Increase the Quality of Prayer   by Makeena Rivers, which is the first installment of the series Creating a Prayerful Life  .
