Feast of Splendor1

The glorious wine
of the Holy Spirit sipped
from the chalice of God's love.

The radiant bread
of the Word of God consumed
at the table of the Lord.

          ...that the day was nice enough to keep the front door open.
          ...for the fresh brewed coffee I had this morning.
          ...that my Bank of America checking isn't overdrawn today.
          ...for the double chocolate doughnut I had to go with my coffee.
          ...that I was able to finish Can Science Save Our Souls?   by Maya Bohnhoff. This is the second installment of the series Questions from an Atheist about the Nature of God  .
          ...for the lintel soup I had for lunch.
          ...that I have 500 points in my Survey Junkie account.
          ...for the chocolate chip cookie and cornbread muffin I had for my afternoon snack.
          ...that I have $16.95 in my Send Earnings account.
