Water School

My astrologer says
I have lots of water.
Moon, Sun, Mercury in Scorpio,
my ascendant Aquarius, the water bearer.
I float through this life,
and perhaps, the next.
Tadpole becoming bufo toad.
At night, I lie awake
listening to the pond chorus
gleaning lessons
from the water school.
