This Challenge is Going to be Harder Than I Thought

I knew that this challenge for the Musicology Anthology Challenge would be hard. Especially, with copying the lyrics to a Word document. But I didn’t expect it to be this hard. I have spent the whole working on it. At least I have from two PM on. I had a few more songs to save to a webpage with the lyrics on them. but that’s when it started going downhill.

I opened the first five. Three of them I could copy without too much trouble from www.lyrics.com. But there were two that I couldn’t. I tried several ways to do it. But I couldn’t. So, I went into www.genius.com to get them. I had to do some editing with them. It’s a good thing I still had them on lyrics.com. I was about to do the next five when I saw the time. And started working on this Blog entry for today.

I was hoping to get the copy done today so that I could create my book for the fifty-two entries. That way I will be able to get started working on my first Short Story after I get home from work tomorrow. I know that I have written that before. But I haven’t followed through on doing it. It’s probably going to be a struggle to do it now. but I must force myself to do it. I don’t have too much time to do it. In fact, I’m sure I won’t be able to start my short stories tomorrow. If I am lucky, I will get about half of them done.

I will try to get them done after I finish this Blog entry. And I will get as much of it done as I can. If I don’t do it by the time I go to sleep tonight, I will finish it tomorrow after I get home from work. Unfortunately, that may take several days to do. Each day it takes me to create this book for the Challenge the fewer days that I have for writing these stories.

I will know more about how long it will take to start working on my stories by the time I do my Blog entry for tomorrow. I will probably write it up before I go to sleep tonight. But I might now get it posted until just before I go to work. As for work, I’ve going to return to working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Of course, if I could take my laptop to work like everyone else, I wouldn’t have as much to worry about with my writing. But I’m not allowed to do that anymore.

I don’t know how much writing I’m going to get done tomorrow at work. But I’m going to get as much done as I can. A lot of that depends on how busy I am at work tomorrow. If it’s like last Wednesday, I may get a lot of it done. But if it’s busy like it usually is, I may be lucky if I get ten to fifteen scene paragraphs done. And that includes any Establishing Shot ones.
