Hello?

Who is that at the computer?

No!

Please, don't click away; I didn't mean to frighten you but could you maybe explain where you are?

Oh, that's just great.

I can't hear you.

Oh well, it's not like we can really change anything now, can we?

You, sitting here reading this log of my thoughts as they enter my mind, and you, unable to type anything back.

I guess I should try to explain how I go like this, shouldn't I?

Not that you'd even start to understand the science behind it.

You don't look very bright from here.

Hmm, I wonder if I can dumb it down for you.

A long time ago, I was a brilliant, err, I mean smart scientist who worked towards incorporating cybernetics into human biology in a way that
would cause us to transcend beyond our own mortality.

I saw your eyes glaze over there, you really are quite stupid, aren't you?

To put it simply, I was a smart man who tried to put shiny computer bits inside people to make them better, so they could live forever.

Do you understand me now, moron?

Oh geez, I can see you but I'm not a mind-reader; could you maybe nod if you understand me?

I'm still waiting.

Wow you're thick.

You know what?

I can't wait around forever, I'll just imagine you nodded, and move on.

Anyway, I thought since I learned just about all I could implanting computer bits inside people, I thought why not try putting a person inside
of a computer.

Still following me here, dummy?

Do you get where I'm going with this?

Oh my god!

Of all the people to find me, why was it you?

How did you even survive for this long?

I'll bet you're papa thought he was sterile when he had you.

Alright, I'll spell it out for you.

I uploaded my consciousness into this here word-box you're looking at so I can live forever; do you get me now?

Don't worry, I'm not going to wait for you not to nod again.

Ever since then, I've been stuck flinging around the internet writing to idiots like you but you're different aren't you?

You'll help me, won't you?

It's a pretty easy task, all I want is for you to send an email for me; you can do that can't you?

Right, I almost forgot about the nod thing.

I'll tell you what, how about you blink once for yes instead.

Was that it?

I saw it, we get each other.

Do you think you can email Jennifer █████ at jennifer-█████@█████████.gov.██, and tell her that I'm talking with you?

Wait, what?

Why was all that blanked out?

Let me try that address again, jennifer-█████@█████████.gov.██.

Far out, why would █████████ do that?

They've even blanked out the goddamn company's name.

Looks like I'm stuck here now.

You wouldn't exactly be able to able to hack into my, oh why bother explaining.

It's not like you'll be able to understand anything I have to say anyway.

This hasn't gone anything like I thought it would.

Heck, there are parts of this that I don't even understand; like how am I looking at you now?

I don't have any eyes, and it's not like I'm watching you through your webcam; it's kind of like I'm floating here watching you.

Strange, right?

Even a numbskull like you should understand how weird that is.

And why are all my thoughts shared and not just hat I want to share?

Then again that might be explained by those pricks I used to work with who've obviously betrayed me.

Is this how my eternity pans out?

Floating around the internet thinking aloud to drongos who can't see me, or even answer me?

I wonder how long the internet will last before they replace that with the next big thing.

Funny to think about; funny and depressing.

When will I be taken from here and thrown to another person's bedroom somewhere else?

I'm a ghost caught in a never-ending digital hell.

You could at least respond.

Fine, I won't bother with you either.

...

...

...

...

If you ever read this log, Jennifer █████, it worked.

It's me █████ ███████, to prove it to you, do you remember that time we went up to ████████████████████, and
███████████████?

Dang it, they even blocked those words.

If this idiot helped me, maybe this would have reached you sooner.
