Do you have any tattoos or want one in the future? If you had to have a piece of art permanently on your body, what would you want it to say about you? INKSPOTS https://www.mayoclinic.org/tattoos-and-piercings/art-20045067/in-depth/art-20045...Just a little rain on your parade. Quote From Goodreads: “She had a flower tattoo on her wrist; "What does that mean?" he asked her. "Absolutely nothing," she said, "it's just a flower.” ― C. JoyBell C. No. I don't have any tattoos and I don't want one in the future. Art on your body is a mindset. I would be afraid that the ink in the top layer of my skin would not be a good thing. I have very white skin. Something about Northern DNA and less melanin. Even though I was born in Florida. It still relates to DNA. Also, the elderly need to take good care of their skin. It is a part of your body that protects other parts and over the years takes a beating with sun, outdoor work and play, and aging. I like jewelry. I had my ears pierced and it gives me a reason to wear earrings occasionally. or just buy them because I like jewelry. I have to keep the pierced places clean and sterile to avoid infection. It can be annoying. My daughter bought me several pieces of jewelry over the years that remain my favorites. I wear bracelets more than other things or rings when I go somewhere dressy. I like jewelry because I can take it off. I guess jewelry can say things about you as quick as a tattoo. My brother is an exceptionally good leather artist. He gave me a leather pony tail clip that I wore to school for several years in my teens. I don't wear it often but I still have it. I have two leather bracelets. It says I like leather. Some poor cow died so I could ride in a leather saddle and wear dyed decorated cow hide on my wrists. I love the smell of neatsfoot oil and saddle soap as I clean my saddle. Exactly what does that say about me? A generals wife, the mother of a friend I rode horses with, in Texas, in the 60's, called me a hick farm girl. I agreed with her; because I personally thought that said a lot about me. Hick farm girls are notoriously famous for being capable of living. Bye ! Live Life. *flower* |
