Letters of the Living:
An Acrostic Poem

Listen to the echoes reverberate
Encircling the Earth with the love of God;
Testifying to a fresh outpouring of
The Holy Spirit that fulfilled God's Promise.
Expectations spread through the east and west
Raising questions about interpretations of
Scriptural signs of the return of Christ and the Qa'im.

Once the questions were asked, the answers came
For eighteen seekers in Persia (now Iran).

They found the Promised One in Shiraz;
He was a young merchant, Siyyid ‘Alí-Muhammad;
Each one found Him without assistance from the others.

Life changed for them, they were transformed:
In an instant they became living letters,
Verses in the epic poem of a heroic age
Inscribed in the the pages of
Nabil's Narrative: The Dawn Breakers
Giving encouragement to a new generation of believers.
