Wearing the Bab's green turban1
Mullá Husayn2 mounted his horse,
and flying the Black Standard
rode forth
to carry out
the commands of the Bab.

His only desire
was to defend his companions
as they moved through the countryside,
and defend them
he did.

At Shaykh Tabarsi
the Babi's defended themselves,
until the end
when their pursuers chose to trick
them into surrender.

Mulla Husayn
along with seven other Letters of the Living--
Mírzá Muhammad Hasan Bushrú’í3
Mírzá Muhammad Báqir Bushrú’í4
Mullá Mahmúd-i-Khú’í5
Mullá Jalíl-i-Urúmí6
Mullá Ahmad-i-Ibdál-i-Marághi’í7
Mullá Yúsuf-i-Ardibílí8
Mírzá Muhammad-‘Alíy-i-Qazvíní9--
were part of the 72 Babi's martyred
at Shaykh Tabarsí.
