Meditation on Might:
To The Bab

The might of the Creator
is revealed to humanity
through the Divine Prophets
or Manifestations,
who show in their lives
and deaths the glory
of the Unknowable Essence
we call God.

The power of the Holy Spirit,
to transform
and unite humanity,
is revealed through the buildings constructed
to bear witness to the reality
of the Manifestations
of the attributes of God.

As I watch
the aerial view
of the Shrine of the Bab,
I am astounded
by the magnificence
of its golden dome
reflecting the sunlight.

The white marble,
of the shrine's exterior,
attests to strength of faith
engendered in Anis,
who requested the honor
of accompanying the Bab
into paradise.

The breath taking views
of the gardens,
and the terraces
disclose the majesty and grandeur
that love for the Gate of God
inspired in the souls
of both babi's and Baha'is.

To ascend the terraces
is the dream and the desire
of the followers of the faith
begin by the Bab.

The Shrine
proclaims the sovereignty of God,
and encourages the exaltation
Of the Divine Manifestations1
for today.
