The Terraces:
To The Bab

"But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it."
Micah 4:1, King James Version

Nineteen terraces
ascend the mountain of God,
nine from the foot to the Shrine of the Bab1,
and nine from the Shrine
to the Arc on Carmel's crest.

Eighteen terraces
represent the Letter of the Living,
who gave their lives
to spread the news of the Bab.

From across the Earth
pilgrims and tourist flow
to God's Holy Mountain.
