Santa is dead. But, what about his parrot?
On a Christ-Mass eve, dad told me about Saint Nicholas of Turki.
Saint Nicholas was a progressive wealthy aristocrat, who shared his money with the poor.
But, like us all, he eventually dropped dead.
The Catholic Church elevated him to Sainthood and there is a church to Saint Nicholas in Turki.
But, what about the parrot?
Yes, Turkish Santa had a parrot.
The parrot would fly gold coins down the chimneys in Turki.
I think his name was Cenk.
The are many animals, who have been venerated by the Catholic Church.
A dog in England, who heroically saved a village, has a statue.
His name might be Jasper.
Are these pets in Heaven with Santa?
How should I know?
Reflections~Are cavemen in Heaven with Santa and his parrot Cenk?
Shalom
Muzzy:}Saint Nicholas was born in the third century December 6 and died in 314 AD.
