Contemplating Winter1

Will we have an excruciatingly cold winter,
or will it be pleasant?
The year is passing,
I am aging,
and the arthritis
in my joints
isn't too painful...
yet.

          ...for the hot back coffee on this beautiful summer da y
          ...that I have 980 points in my Survey Junkie account.
          ...for the chocolate cookies to go with my coffee.
          ...that I have 64,800 points in my YouGov account.
          ...that my left sandal remained fastened when I went out after the mail.
          ...that my ten-ride ticket paratransit ticket book arrived today.
