Benevolent Gifts:
To The Bab

His exquisite penmanship
flows across the page
transforming the Persian and Arabic writing
into works of art,
and inspiring the mystic poet
to write odes of gratitude dedicated
to the living Word of God.

His benevolent gifts
are found in the actions
of the Letters of the Living,
who gave their lives
to proclaim the the Bab
to the people of Persian1.

His gifts
are also inscribed
in tablets and epistles,
that wait to be translated
into the languages of
humanity.
