Summer's End By Lisa Noe ![]() The sun is dimming, which once shone bright. The hours are shrinking, we have more night. A breeze blows lightly, feeling so good. Birds head south, as they should. Summer is dying, coming to an end. Autumn comes swiftly, becoming our friend. Weeds and flowers wilting so quick. Trees lose their leaves and look like a stick. People leave lakes and beaches in droves, They look for the farms where the pumpkins grow. School begins, children will learn.
