          ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn this morning.
          ...for fresh brewed black coffee.
          ...that I got a good night's sleep last night.
          ...for the Danimal yogurt I had for breakfast.
          ...that I have completed 128 poems in the 200 I'm writing for the bicentenary celebration o f the Birth of the Bab.
          ...for the ginger ale I had as my afternoon snack.
          ...that I have 32 points in my Survey Junkie account.

Sunday Afternoon Poem1

Beautiful Sunday
a partly cloudy sky,
with a slight wind.

Pigeons have returned
to their nests,
no sparrows are singing,
the afternoon sun
cast shadows
across the sidewalk.
