Brain Borrowment!
Hey all!

Now, I am wondering, who on earth is looking at this lone blog in the vast expanse of Writing.com? Perhaps the accidental stumbler? Maybe the mildly curious? Well, whoever you are, I hope you pull up a chair and sit with me a while!

I have had an account here for quite some time, but it has taken me an aeon and then some to actually write something! Paralysed by what to write and the possibilities, and with too many jumbling ideas in my brainbox, all lead to an empty page. I do love writing and when in the zone, words can be the wings on which I grip onto and soar far away from the mundanities of life.

But like many-a creaking author or wannnabe pencil scribbler, my fingers are not used to producing words. I peer down and can see blossoming miniature dust clouds from the joints, as if I were a long-forgotten automaton in desperate need of oil and self-belief fluid.

I am here to practise my most loved of crafts once more, and to start my journey, blogging seemed to be the first tentative step. I have a character I hold dear and have written about her more than anyone else, I hope to share her misadventures with you or at least let her flourish in the only way in which she can live, through words and imagination. Chan has not breathed this freely for a long time!

Now, the subject mentioned the borrowing of brains. I am sure most of you will not have one to spare, so join heads, get in close, ignore the sharp implement in my hand---!

Kidding! Come back!

*tucks the scalpel out of sight for the time being*

Now, how does one start writing again? The daunting nature of short stories, with a quick furtive glance into someone else's world or life seems to be the best opener. But whose life? And why? And will I know them as well in as many words?!

Lend us a hand, in the form of a reaching squishy brain! ;_____:=
