It was Worse Than a Typical Wednesday at Work
It was Worse Than a Typical Wednesday at Work

I know that it’s hard to believe. But yesterday at work was probably the worst Wednesday that I have had over the last six weeks at this post. The first of almost four hours were about the same. It was very, very busy there. In fact, it was so busy that I didn’t have any time to do any writing. And it only got worse from there.

About fifteen minutes until my shift was about halfway through it, it started downpouring. But it wasn’t just the rain. It was also coming from the North. And it was very windy. It felt almost like a hurricane or in my neck of the woods a tornado whenever I opened the door on that side. And of course, I had to open it a lot in the twenty-five minutes that it lasted.

Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of the rainstorm that came through during the next four hours of my shift. It just wasn’t as bad as when it first started raining. At times it was a very heavy downpour. But it wasn’t as bad as the first one was. By the time I got off work it had died down to a light but steady rain.

What does that all mean when it comes to my writing. It means that I didn’t get any writing done. Between the rain and it being a typical Wednesday for being super busy I didn’t have the time to do any writing. It wasn’t a total loss. True, I may not have gotten anything written on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But I did have a little time to think about my WDC Short Story for this month.

Today I go back to the post that I should be at all the time. What does that mean for my writing? It means I can start working on my single paragraph Outlines for my Water Wars project. I’m not sure if I can get all three Outlines done today. But I hope that I can. After all, the Outlines are easy compared to the Treatments that follow. It’s going to take me a couple of months to do them. And that’s if I’m lucky. I won’t be on Wednesdays. Unfortunately, that much I know for sure.
