One of My Best Yesterdays So Far

Yesterday at work was one of my best days when it comes to my writing. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was my best day so far. Why do I feel like this? It’s because of how much writing I got written yesterday. I got twenty-eight single paragraphs done for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That may not read like a lot to you. But it does to me.

True, twelve of them were for a Tag Act and a Teaser Act. Which means that they were only three lines long each. But that means that there were sixteen single paragraphs that were either four or five lines each. Half of them were four lines and the other half were five.

Why did I get so many paragraphs written yesterday at work? That’s one question that has several answers to it. Most of that reason is that it wasn’t very busy at work. In fact, it was almost completely dead up until the last hour of my shift. That’s when it got so busy that it made up for the rest of my shift. It felt almost like a Wednesday during that hour. That is how busy it was.

The main reason that I got so much written yesterday is because of me. Once I started writing, I couldn’t stop myself from doing it. True, work slowed me down a tiny bit. And me checking up on my television shows did too. But even that didn’t slow me down that much.

Unfortunately, I can’t stay the same for today. Up until writing this blog entry for today, I haven’t gotten any of my writing done today. And besides my Water Wars project, I’ve got several short stories to write for this month. The WDC Short Story is one of them. But I’m going to try to write two other short stories too.

My WDC Short Story for this month is my top priority. But the other two are just as important. At least they are to me. I think that I can get all three of them written in the next few weeks. But if I can’t my WDC Short Story is the main one that I’ve got to write this month.

Why didn’t I get anything written today? It’s because it’s been a typical Monday aka my first day off from work. My brother and I had a lot to do today. Most of it was related to our moving to a new place. We still have a lot to do with that. Most of it has been done. But there is quite a bit that still needs to be done. And we don’t have a lot of time to do it either.

Tomorrow, I know that my brother and I have some things that we need to do. most of them are related to this move. But not all of it is. I’m not sure how much writing I will get done tomorrow. If I get any done, except for another blog entry. But I think that I will be able to do some writing. I’m just now sure how much that will be right now.
