More Bad News About My WDC Short Story

What I’m about to write about is very, very bad news. I didn’t get another section or two done on my WDC Short Story for this month. I barely got the second one re-written. And it has taken me since my last blog entry to do it too. That was about four and a half hours ago.

Why did it take me so long to re-write one section that is only two hundred words at the most? It’s because I had to re-write it several times. It was at least four times. And I think it was a few more than that. It’s still not how I wanted to write it. But it’s down to one hundred and ninety-three words now.

I didn’t think that it was going to take this long or be this time-consuming. But it was. Of course, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. I just didn’t think it was going to take me all night to do it. That’s why this blog entry is about an hour later than it usually is today.

That’s enough for the very bad news. Now it’s time to write about almost as bad news. If it isn’t even worse than that. Which it might be. After all, I’m heading back to work today. But it’s Wednesday. Which means I’m probably not going to get too much writing done on the Treatments for my Water Wars scriptwriting project.

I’m still going to try to do as much as I can, though. probably will only be after to do a few single paragraphs. If I’m lucky to do that many. But even that many is better than nothing. I don’t know how many I will get done. I just know that I’m going to get as many of them as I can.
