Haven’t Finished My WDC Short Story for This Month Yet

True, I still haven’t gotten my WDC Short Story done for this month yet. But I’m one section closer to do it. I still have two more to go before I finish it. And I know what I want to write within them. I’m just not sure how I’m going to do it. I don’t think that is going to be too much of a problem, though.

I’m going to try to finish this Short Story after I post this blog entry for today. And I think that I can do it. True, I am still a little tired from not getting too much sleep last night because of work. But I still think I can finish this story.

Why am I still so tired? It’s because I worked a little bit of OT yesterday at work. My relieve didn’t get there until about two and a half hours after my shift was supposed to end. The OT helped some since I haven’t worked at all the last couple of days. But it still wasn’t worth it when it comes to my writing.

I only got a few hours last night because of work. But that should have been enough for today. My brother and I had a lot to do today. Mostly with the moving still. But it wasn’t as bad as it has been. So, I did get some writing done today. I have only finished one section for my WDC Short Story so far. But the only reason why it took so long wasn’t because of me being tired. It was because I had a lot of editing to do on it.

The editing wasn’t the only problem, though. I also had some trouble concentrating on it. So far, this Short Story is Single Past Tense. But I have been thinking for quite a while that it should be in Present Tense. I know that’s a no-no for most writers. If not almost all of them. but that’s the way I prefer to write. Especially when it’s a POV Short Story like this one.
