Nothing New to Write About Today
Nothing New to Write About Today

Unfortunately, it’s true. I don’t have anything to write about. That’s because I haven’t done any writing today up until now. True, I have thought about doing it. And I have thought about what I’m going to write when it comes to the next two or three sections for my WDC Short Story for this month. But I didn’t do any actual writing of it.

I’m not sure why I haven’t written anything so far today except for this blog entry. I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night. Only about three hours. I’m not sure why that happened either. I wanted to go to sleep. But I just couldn’t do it. That’s probably one of the reasons I haven’t written anything today. I don’t think that it’s the only reason why, though.

I think that another possible reason is that my left knee has been hurting me all day today. it’s probably arthritis. But I haven’t taken any Aleve for it yet today. Because of tomorrow being Wednesday, I’m sure I will need it more tomorrow than I do now. A little suffering now is better than even more pain tomorrow at work. I am going to take it about midnight my time aka one o’clock WDC time. Even if that does relieve the pain, I’m still going to take another one tomorrow.

Another possible reason is that I’m a little bit depressed about the WDC Short Story Contest from September that hasn’t been announced yet. It’s almost the middle of November. And it still hasn’t been judged. Like I wrote a few days ago in my Notebook, I know that I’m not going to win it. I never do. And I never will. But I would like to know who did win it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way. Anyone who entered it should be feeling the same way as I do.

That’s enough ranting and raving. Now it’s time to write some somewhat good news. It’s true I haven’t done any writing today. But that doesn’t mean that I haven’t thought about it. Ever since I got an email from The Script Lab earlier today about mentorships, I have been thinking about what script I should be working on to enter it. I know that I can’t do it this year. But I can for next year.

I came up with several possible winners. And I wasn’t sure which one I would do. Then when I started writing this blog entry I suddenly did. But it’s not one of the ones I was thinking about earlier. It’s one I was working on before I started doing movie and television shows project.

I’m still going to continue working on my Water Wars project starting tomorrow. I still plan on finishing this first. But instead of going to Calkin Cove then Treasure Finders, I’m going to do The Problems with Death first. I still plan on doing Calkin Cove and Treasure Finders. I’m going to do The Problems with Death before I do them.
