Crown of Glory: A Memory1

Dawn's rays
embraces the crest of Sunrise Mountain
turning its crest to burnished gold,
and the air to fiery orange.

Like prayers rising from my soul
Glory's Crown expands
until the sun breaks through the fire
and the crown disappears.

          ...for the french toast, eggs, and sausage I had for breakfast.
