The days grow slowly longer
as a New Year
and a new decade approach.

Fear and hope mingle
in the minds of humanity,
as one emotion
attempts to push the other
out of the way.

          ...for fresh brewed coffee on this beautiful winter morning.
          ...that I have 2,264,599 GPs in my Gift Points account.
          ...for the salad I had for lunch.
