BiMonthly blog challenge accepted with an occasional jaunt to the Banana Bar Challenge. |
I joined the blog challenge to learn something new, to stretch my writing muscles and to find another avenue for inspiration. So far I haven't been disappointed. I only have 28 days behind me so forgive me if in offering an idea for possible future blogs, I repeat something from past years. I have my hands full just reading all of the blog entries for this month alone, but I have tried. I don't always have the time to read them all. On those days, I pick and choose based on what I remember reading on previous days. I know who I am, I write from what is inside, but I haven't yet found my voice as a blogger. I am watching patterns emerge in the blogs I read and have begun to recognize bloggers from their manner of writing. Three or four, in particular, stick out in my mind as having a distinct stripe. I'm still trying to find my way, but I want to do that. I would like to know, As a blogger, have you given as much thought to how you are presenting your response to a prompt as you are to the content of that response? Have you developed a style? If so how did it emerge? If not, do you intend to and what are your thoughts on how that might happen? We are all writers here. The how is as important as the what. I think most of us could find something to say on this topic. words painted with my unique brush speak my name ~~jvg |
