Prompt: "Tell us about your favorite room in your house."

I don't live in a house. I live at the West Virginia Veterans Home in Barboursville WV. It has over 100 rooms in it but only one of those rooms is mine. The rooms are about the size of college dorm rooms. In fact this used to be a college. Then it was a hospital. Now it is the Veterans Home. It isn't a nursing home, just a home for veterans. I guess you could say assisted living. My room is the biggest on my floor. It is a two beds room, but I am the only one in it. I'm hoping to move to a single room soon. There is one available down the hall a few doors. I'm the floor leader here so I am entitled to a single room. That is one of the perks of being floor leader. I don't know if I will get it or not because others who have been here longer have asked for it as well. A single room around here is a luxury.
