Prompt: Have you ever worked in sales? Write about your experiences.

I sold Avon. I earned prizes like a phone, rhinestone necklace and pin to match, Avon Pins and Albees which are porcelain Avon ladies. I had customers not pay me. Others ordered items that were no longer on sale and wanted me to suffer the loss. One woman said she didn't order the products I delivered her and she did.

My District manager delivered an item that had been ordered from one of my customers and I took the order. You would get shorted on items. Other areas got the products when they first came out and my area never got them. The pay was lousy. It was hard to earn prizes. I ended up spending more money then I made. I am retired from Nursing and that was not a great job, either but I earned my SS!
