Why Are There Plagues?

There are plagues, because of famine and overpopulation.
Overburdened cities with large population density have plagues.
And there are natural disasters, like earthquakes, fire, meteors.
Meteors can carry bacteria and plagues, see Odromiter Strain.
It's a great sci-fi movie.

Then there is the wrath of God.
Revelations 17:16, and the sixth Angel poured out a vial upon
the great Euphrates and Babylon suffered a plague.
The works of God are perfect according to Noah,
"God is separating the chaff from the wheat."

Okay. Why not make Adam and Eve immortal and childless?
That way their sin would stop with them...
