A metaphor for my take on life and how it affects me. |
I don't know about you but I have stayed somewhat busy during our days of quarantine. We have done a fair job of staying home, with only 3 trips to the grocery store and 1 to the bank. I spent most of last week getting all my prescriptions changed to mail order, and chased down some other problems. Having to stay on the phone on hold for 45 minutes on one occasion and 30 minutes on another. The calls were successful and worth the wait. This week we started with cleaning the house on Monday (an every week ritual). I've been walking the dog for 30 to 40 minutes daily and riding the bike to no-where for 30 minutes every other day. My wife continues to work outside planting her garden and she potted two tomatoes. Today she plans to add fertilizer to some of her plants and get it worked into the soil and watered. Yesterday she sprayed insect repellant all around the house. She never stops; I can't keep up and I no longer try! I hope to begin to do some writing this week and get into a habit of sitting down and putting words on paper. I continue to feel put off by my lack of enthusiasm for this project. I shall overcome someday! I feel good about our situation at the moment and hope life continues on an even keel. The projections for the pandemic don't look good and I pray everyday that we can make it through this hectic time. Life Is Good - God Bless |
