The Dream





The dream

I had a dream and it was bad,
It made me wake up sad.
I dreamed you left me all alone,
I couldn't even reach you by phone.

You are my love and have been for years,
Now I'm alone and I'm filled with tears.
At least that's what I dreamed about,
I woke up and let out a shout.

Thankfully though, you were beside me,
And when I saw you I felt relieved.
I would die if you left me alone
It takes us both to make a home.
