May my opinions gather wind under their wings and fly, perchance to soar.

Preparation? Priorities?
Preparation? Priorities?
13.may.2020

Many governments are NOT prepared.

Many people can't seem to think about others.

Some can't sort out their priorities.

Some have. They walk around with a gun, shout 'freedom', spit in someone's face.

Answers, comment to friends on-line (spacebook):

To Jane in Montana:

462 ... one in the Billings area today. 800 tests. Only 3 hospitalized. Numbers are good. Tourist season will lead to outbreaks though if they are not prepared. This has happened elsewhere. It's why Korea and Taiwan can't get down to zero. People bring it in from areas where it isn't under control (like So Cal) or areas with high numbers (like NYC) and either don't know (reason for immediate testing and tracing) or don't care (tracking and quarantine). Should Glacier and Yellowstone open this summer expect a surge come July/August.

To Zehra in Northern Pakistan:

People don't seem to think of others nor do they think logically (if at all) and many can't sort out priorities. This problem is global. How many young women have died in Pakistan because they weren't wearing a new dress? How many people have died of this coronavirus? 737 is the latest number I've seen for Pakistan with over 1,600 new cases just today.
