Sorry to tell of less Novel things

Read with a sense of humor, please.

What if, there were no such things as books except maybe a sort of footnote in some museum? Maybe, in the future, there might be the occasional eccentric individual who will stil read books, but there may be many who might never read a book; they won't need to read books. Sight can be converted to images and those become stories. No matter how it happens, novel writing may soon be a thing of the past. How is that for a kick in the pants?
