Overreacting
Prompt: Joy asked how we feel about overeacting about things and what triggers it.

I used to get so mad at work. Telling me, if a staff member sleeps on my shift, I wil get wrote up for not reporting it. I made my opinion noted and I reacted to being pushed around and patients yelling. I would say what I had to say. I walked away to the Med Room. Maybe I would cry and feel better. I reminded myself to listen to a person who is talking and give them 5 minutes. If what they said triggered me, I would say what is on my mind. I would be tactful and keep it short. Other times, I just walk away. A staff anywhere aren't going to be happy with each other every minute. My husband says I get upset easily. I do but if I over react, I pray to God to forgive me and do the best I can and not hurt anyone. I don't miss work. I have time for myself and I haven't overreacted to anything in awhile. I don't want to. I don't like being mad. I like being happy.
