The Nightmare
is Finally Over

It took us almost the whole day to finish it. But we are finally moved out of our old place and into the new one. Unfortunately, it took us almost all day to do it. In fact, we just got finished with it a couple of hours ago. What does that do for my writing? It means that I can get back to doing it.

Unfortunately, I haven’t had too much time to work on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death. Don’t get me wrong. I have spent a little bit of time on it. After all, I did get to rest for a few minutes every so often in between what needed to be done to finish our move. And when I did rest, I was on my laptop working on it.

Well, that isn't exactly true. I didn’t really get any more scene paragraphs or Establishing Shot single paragraphs written for this project. But I did have a lot of time to think about it. And what I thought about the most was my timeline problem. I knew that there wasn’t too much time to do any actual writing. So, I decided to work on my timeline problem. A problem I have been thinking a lot about.

I have been thinking about this for quite a while. And I have decided to compromise a little bit when it comes to my scriptwriting. The Scene Headings as I call them will still be the same for my Science Fiction scripts. But the time of day that they take place in will be from Earth. After all, it may still be Science Fiction, but the scripts will still be filmed here on Earth. At least they will be for right now.

Yes, I know that the stand for Time of Day is either DAY, NIGHT, or SPACE if the scene takes place in SPACE. But I have seen other Times of Day too. Times like DAWN, EVENING, DUSK, etc. my Times of Days are a lot more like the latter ones. Only mine are more precise than they are. I give my scenes a two-hour frame to work with.

Will I start working on this project after I get done with the writing and posting of this blog entry? No, I won’t. But it’s not for the usual reason aka a lack of sleep or being too tired. Even though I am a little bit tired after all that has happened today. It’s because I still have a little bit to do on my timeline spreadsheet.
