An Average Thursday
An Average Thursday

No, the above blog title isn’t about my working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Even though it does kind of relate to it. What the title indicates is how busy it was at work yesterday. it wasn’t quite as busy as it has been the last few Thursdays. But it was very busy, though.

I was on my feet a lot yesterday at work. A lot more than I should have been. And every time I was, I had to go outside my guard post to work. At least I didn’t have the weather to deal with too. It was kind of hot. I think it got up to around the middle seventies. But it didn’t feel that hot.

So, how many single paragraphs did I do when it comes to my movie Scene Outline for this project? I only did eight of those. And they were all scene paragraphs. Not one of them was an Establishing Shot paragraph. I also had a few re-writes with them too.

Some of those re-writes were only a few words to a sentence or two. And some were almost the whole paragraph or the entire paragraphs. I even had one or two that I change the Scene Heading too. They are that hard to do. But they also count at re-writes. At least I think that they do.

Overall, I probably did about ten paragraphs. Maybe even eleven or twelve, instead of eight. But in the end, only eight scene paragraphs were written. No matter how many re-writes it’s still the number of scenes that count. And I only did eight of them yesterday at work.

I’m hoping that I can do that many today. Of course, I want to do a little bit more than that. If not a lot more. But after the last few Fridays, I may be lucky if I get six to eight of them written. I’m hoping that today will be a whole lot better than yesterday regarding my writing.

How much writing I get done today depends on how busy it gets at work. If it’s a typical Friday lately, then I may be lucky if I get six to eight of them written. But if it’s a lot like yesterday, then I may get a few more written. Maybe even a lot more.
