A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Yesterday Good, Today Terrible I don’t know how I did it. But I got fifteen single paragraphs written for my Water Wars scriptwriting project yesterday at work. True, four of them were Establishing Shots. And they were written on a Sunday. But I think that doing eleven single paragraphs scenes for my Scene Outline is a very good day. Of course, since it was a Sunday it should have been a few more than that. But considering how it has been the last few weekends, I’m kind of surprised I got that many of them written. Especially, with all the work problems that I have been having lately. In fact, when I went to work yesterday, I didn’t expect to get too much writing done because of how I was still feeling about what was going on at work. But once I started writing I couldn’t stop myself from doing it. True, I was distracted a little bit by catching up on my Daytime Dramas on my cell phone, work, and eating. It’s didn’t slow me up that much, though. That’s enough for the good news. Now it’s time for the bad news. When I got home last night from work, I had every intention to finish writing my two short stories that I wanted to write for this month. Even if it took me both of my days off to do them. But with one only half done and the other one with four-fifths left to do, I didn’t think that I was going to get them written. So, I decided not to do them. And after what has happened today, I’m pretty sure that I would have gotten them done in time for these contests. No, my brother and I didn’t have a lot that needed to be done today. Well, that isn’t exactly true. We did have a lot to do. But it wasn’t externally like it usually is. It was at home this time. My brother and I have spent most of the day fixing up the new place to be more livable. As a result, I didn’t get any writing done on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death. I’m hoping I will be able to get to work on it tomorrow. But the way that things have been going lately on my days off, I’m not going to count on it until it happens. I know that my brother and I have a couple of things that we need to do today. It shouldn’t take us too long to do them, though. At least I don’t think that they will. If that’s true, then maybe I’ll be able to get some writing done on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death.
