What is Wrong with Me?

That’s what I want to know. Maybe it’s because I have done this movie Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project before. About the only thing that has changed with them is the scene numbering because of remembering Voonc. The storylines are still the same. Except for the ones with Voonc now.

Then again, maybe it’s because I’m trying to do more showing instead of telling. I’m getting better at that. But I’m still not very good at it. I have done it a lot with these Outlines, though. At least I think that I have. But I know that I still have a lot of work to do on that too.

Whatever the reason, I would like to know what it is. I used to be able to do ten to fifteen during the week. And I could usually do fifteen to twenty-five on the weekends. A few more if I have any Establishing Shots. Now I’m lucky if I get six to eight single paragraphs written for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. And about ten to twelve on Saturday and Sunday.

I’m not going to write about how many single paragraphs that I got written on this project yesterday at work. It’s that bad. But I will write that it was a lot less than normal. And the only reason why I didn’t get more written is because of a lack of concentration. Work was very, very bad. That did affect me a lot when it comes to my writing. But my lack of concentration was the main reason.

Hopefully, I will do better today with my working on this project. I do know one thing. It can’t get too much work. About the only way it can is if I work at one of the other gates today. And as far as I know, I’m not going to do that. I’m hoping once more that I can get ten to fifteen of them done. But I will probably be lucky if I can get six to eight single paragraphs written today.
