Second Commandment
Prompt: Thou shall not take the name of the Lord God in vain. Chris asked why this is the second commandment instead of the tenth and is it more important.

God feels this is important and that is why it is number 2. It is a rule to live by. He wants us to just call out to him and don't use him in swearing. We are to show him respect. He is our God and we don't cuss or swear at him. This is an important rule and everyone should take it to heart. Be his servant. Don't swear, don't take his name in vain, you love him, respect him and keep his name holy above all names. He is Lord!
