Another Eighteen on a Friday, I Think

I’m pretty sure that I have done eight single paragraphs on a Friday. It was about a month or two ago. Maybe another month or two at the most. But I vaguely remember doing it. I may be wrong about that. It wouldn’t be the first time that has happened. But I don’t think that it is this time. I could go into my blog entries and look under ‘eighteen’ to see what it comes up with. And I may do that sometime. But I don’t have the time to do it right now.

Fifteen scene paragraphs and three Establishing Shots equals eighteen. That’s how many I did yesterday at work for the movie Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. If that had happened on the weekend, that would be very good. But when it happens during the week it’s a whole lot better. At least I think that eighteen single paragraphs are very good. Especially, when work is as busy as it was yesterday.

It was very busy at work yesterday. True, it wasn’t as busy as it has been on a Friday. But it was still very, very busy, though. As usual, the first and last two hours were the busiest. The middle four hours weren’t too bad. But they were still a lot worse than they have been lately.

I’m kind of surprised that I got that many of them written again. But I did. And I don’t know why. Once I started writing I couldn’t stop myself from doing it until I finished it. Of course, I did have to stop when I had work to do. But that didn’t slow me down that much.

I just hope that I can do that many today. If not a few more than that. Which is a very good possibility. After all, it is a Saturday. The only problem is my Saturdays haven’t been too productive when it comes to my writing. So, I’m not too hopeful. Then again, I may be able to do it today since I have done so well in the last couple of days. That hasn’t happened in a long time either.

There’s another reason why I would like to do a little more. If I can get to twenty single paragraphs written for this project I will end Act Seven of this movie. The big question is can I do that many. I didn’t fifteen scenes yesterday. so, there is no reason why I can do it today plus five more.
Whether I do ten, fifteen, twenty, or more I’m going to do as many as I can today.
