That’s Extremely Bad For a Saturday

Unfortunately, I only ended up writing ten single paragraphs of the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I know that’s very good. Especially, since it happened on a Saturday. But it’s even worse than that. I think that is the worse I have done on a Saturday when I’m at my regular post.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done on this project? That’s right. It’s work. And work is a big part of why I didn’t get more written on this Scene Outline. Why do I write that? It’s not because it was busy at work yesterday. It is because I had to do two Incident Reports.

One of those IRs has been a typical one for the last few weekends. So, I’m not too surprised about that one. I kind of expected that to happen. It’s the other one that made me so mad that I had to almost force myself to write the last two single paragraphs for this project.

Work was very normal for a Saturday. It wasn’t very busy at all. True, it did get a little bit busier the last three hours of my shift. But that isn’t unusual. Whether it’s a weekday or a weekend it’s that way. And yesterday was like that. The two IRs only made it worse.

The first IR was the worst of the two. And it started a little bit after 1900. About 1914 to be more accurate. That is when it happened that hasn’t happened in quite a while. at least it hasn’t to me. Unfortunately, that IR took me almost an hour to fill out. That’s how bad it was.

My second IR for yesterday began at about 2110 and then again at around 2130. It wasn’t that bad, though. and it only took me about fifteen to do both of them since they were on the same IR. So, totally it took me about an hour and fifteen minutes to do both of them.

Today is Sunday. So, I should be able to get a lot of writing done. Of course, I thought that I would get that many written yesterday. And that didn’t happen in a very big way. That’s why I’m not going to count on it happening today until it does. That is how doubtful I am about it.

I’m hoping that I get the twenty single paragraphs that I need to finish Act One of this episode. But after yesterday I may be lucky if I get another ten of them written. I have a very good chance of getting twenty written on a Sunday. But I’m doubtful that will happen.
