A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
A Very Slight Miracle Happened Thursday it took me almost five hours to do the paperwork that I must do at the beginning of my shift at work. But yesterday it was just the opposite. Instead of only having three hours at the end of my shift to do any writing, I had almost five hours to do it. That’s right. I finished my paperwork in about three hours yesterday at work. You would think that would give me around five hours to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, it didn’t. After all, I still had work to deal with. And it was very, very busy at work yesterday. Only about half as busy as it was on Thursday. But it was still very, very busy. Especially, the second half of my shift. As a result of it being so busy yesterday at work, I didn’t get too much writing done. But I did get a few paragraphs written. It may have been only three of them. I know that doesn’t read like too many. And it isn’t. But it’s better than what it has been for the first two days of my work week. Besides, any writing is better than no writing at all. Today I should be able to do five to ten times better than I did yesterday at work. After all, I’m heading back to what used to be my normal post. That should mean I should get a lot of writing done today. I’m hoping that it will be closer to ten times. But I have a feeling it will around five. If it’s not a little less than that. Saturdays usually aren’t too busy. And if it stays that way, then I should get between ten to fifteen or more paragraphs written on this project. I’m hoping that it will be fifteen or more. But I’m not counting on anything until it happens. That’s because I have thought that way lots of times. Only for it not to happen for some reason. It’s not just how busy it is at work today that’s a factor in how much writing I get done. It is also how I feel about it. Right now, I’m feeling very good about my writing after what happened yesterday. But that may change by the time I get to work. It also depends on what happens during my shift there. I don’t expect anything to happen. But it might.
