A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
About the Same as Last Wednesday The first half of my shift yesterday at work was extremely busy. Especially, the first two hours of it. It was the same as last Wednesday. At least that’s the way it looked to me. In fact, it was so busy that I was on my feet about ninety-five percent of the time. That’s how busy it was for those first two hours. Hours three and four weren’t that much better than the first two. But only a little bit better. Instead of ninety-five, it was about ninety percent of the time that I was on my feet. I got a few extra seconds off them during those two hours. That’s why I’m writing that it didn’t change that much during those hours. Last Wednesday, the first half of my shift was extremely bad. And the second half slowed down a lot. It was still very bad too. But not as much as the first half. Yesterday was about the same as last Wednesday. I don’t think that it is quite the same. But it was close to it, though. The fifth and sixth hours weren’t very busy at all. I actually got to sit down for more than a few seconds. In fact, there were a few times it was several minutes. Don’t get me wrong. It was still busy during those hours. Just not as busy as the first half. Probably about sixty percent better. That isn’t much better. But it’s a whole lot better than the first half of my shift. Hours seven and eight were exactly like last Wednesday. But unfortunately, it was also like the first two hours at work yesterday. It was extremely busy. Not quite as busy as the first two. But it was a very, very close second. I wasn’t on my feet ninety-five of the time. It was about seven-five to eighty percent, though. What does all of this have to do with my writing? It means that I didn’t get any writing done yesterday on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I didn’t think that I would have too much time to work on it. But I was hoping to get a few single paragraphs in for the first episode of this project. I’m not surprised that I didn’t. I figured that I would be too busy to do any writing. Unfortunately, I doubt that I will have any time to do it today either.
