| Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve made an entry here. Many things have been conspiring to keep me from writing as much as I want. The saddest thing is, when I started editing the short story I wrote over the last week, I realized it was horrible! I’m so disgusted with my ability to write right now, it makes me just want to give up on it until after the holidays. Even with the small bit of ‘clean’ stories I try to write just do not want to get out of my head properly. I’ll know after tomorrow evening what’s happening with my writing life. My intent is to rework/edit/throw out and start all over again, the last story I wrote. If that goes fairly, I’ll keep plugging away. Maybe I just need to read a few stories for some inspiration... |
| Thanks to everyone that has taken my survey. This week at work was crazy though, so I haven’t had a chance to get to writing yet. I haven’t even had much of a chance to reply to anyone that has emailed me questions. I promise I’ll get to them. |

| but nevertheless, I went through one of my stories and cleaned it up a little. So far, all the items I have here were written a while ago, and like everyone else (hopefully it’s not just me) when I go back over something I wrote, I find errors. If anyone happens to read "Mowing the Lawn"  and finds an editorial problem, please let me know. Also, with that story, I’ve been told the ending seems abrupt. If you get that feeling too, let me know and I’ll try to rework it a bit. I almost always have a funny line to end my stories with, but that one doesn’t so maybe I need to put a little more work into it. |
