A video-tape is found on a rubbish tip, in seemingly perfect working order, and played.
I sat in disbelief in front of my television, the images on the screen were harrowing and very disturbing.
I tried, but couldn't touch the off switch, my fingers felt very thick and were unable to grip things. I felt physically sick, my face was awash with sweat, though the room was cold.

The recording on this video cassette had almost no sound, but with the picture you needed no sound, the recording was in extremely good condition, considering it was found in a council rubbish tip. The recording was in black and white.

I still to this day have no idea what made me take it with me and try it on my video recorder at home, but I now wish I hadn't seen it.

I didn't believe my eyes, the room in which this film was shot was a small room, very bare in decor, what wallpaper there was, was hanging by sheer determination and grit than anything else. The room had a table, a bare standard wooden table, on the surface of the table was a dark pool of liquid, I hoped that this was no more than spilt juice, but I knew it wasn't likely to be that. The table stood next to a wooden chair, nothing noticeable about it, other than it appeared to be shrouded in a murky mist, reminiscent of ghosting on a badly tuned television set. The camera work appeared to be static as the camera never moved, at least not at the moment.

What happened next took me completely by surprise. The room had appeared to be in semi-darkness, it felt strangely familiar to me, a feeling of Deja,vu overwhelmed me, almost giving a dream feeling to me.
I suddenly felt cold, like someone had walked over my grave, my skin took on a gooseflesh appearance. I felt extreme anxiety, my heart was pounding, I could hear it pumping blood around my body.
I wiped my brow, hoping that this was a bad dream. Into view of the camera came a little girl rather bedraggled, in a dirty dress and cardigan, she was forced to sit on the chair. She had a rag doll with her, the feeling of Deja,Vu was so overwhelming I turned an vomited in a waste paper basket that was just under the television I was watching.

I didn't want to continue watching, but I was powerless to stop.
