This is my first attempt to be a blogger. I hope to type a few items that you will enjoy.
I do not know where to begin with this description. The time period is from 0 to now. Please don't ask how long that is. I am sure with certain clues, you will be able to figure that out.
I am writing this on my favorite old computer at home. I have a computer room that doubles as a retreat for a few of my pets when they want to be alone.
I will cover mostly current thoughts. I hope to add some pictures as I have seen in a blog. I think that to do this sharing will take a lot of work, but the pictures I have seen are well worth it.
Occasionally, I might review a flashback in mylife. I have times when I just roll that special even around in my mind until it has every possible facet examined. Usually this time is to try to figure out a "what if" scenario.
If some of my items have no zest to it feel free to say so. I think that after I have some a few trial runs, then the real me will be out for all of the world to see. Luck you! As the saying goes, "Come with me and the best is yet to be."

Hello there! I'm back. And I am proud to do something worthy writing-wise in this blog.
The last time I was listing ten accomplishments. That made me think. I even surprised myself. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
Now I would like to see if I can think of ten things about my new home state of Oklahoma.
It is a lovely state. I am glad that I have an Oklahoman to guide me around a nice city of Tulsa. The rest of his family, step son and step daughter in law plus two kids live here. They are a 5 minute drive from our house.
But here I go.
1 Oklahoma is known for some native Americans. Indigenous citizens who are proud of their tribe.
There are about 39 tribes represented here.
2. I was fascinated by their language so I tried to learn more about the Cherokee language and tribe. It is a work that I will resume later after I have a few projects completed.
3. We have a few lovely Indian made pots. I am sure that much patience was needed to do each pattern and then glaze,
4. There are a few people in the cemetery who walked the whole TRAIL OF TEARS. This was tragic. Many people died on the way. The lady who was buried there must have gone through a lot of pain and other kinds of suffering. Our government has been unfair to these people. I would cry too.
5. In Oklahoma, the government opened up land for a land rush. The word "sooner' comes from those who broke a rule and staked out land before the time started.
6. Then there is the oil found on this land. Some big shot, came here and tried to cheat the Indians out of the land/money. A movie was made about this. It is called Killers of the Flower Moon. Oil was discovered in 1920s under Osage Nation land. These people were murdered one by one. Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone were in this true movie.
7. Next there was a mass murder of Black people on Black Wall Street. (1900s) Most of the victims' bodies who were killed have not been found. I cannot understand why. But I hope the murdered people can be found and reburied properly for closure.
8. During the attack on Pearl Harbor, the battleship Oklahoma was hit. It is now on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, while being towed to the West coast for scrap. There is a memorial for the 429 sailors who died that day.
9. In 1995 there was a bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building. It was a Federal Building. 168 people including 19 children died. The man who did this heinous act was found, tried and executed.
10. We have Route 66, tornadoes, museums and fine universities. Most people love football, but basketball is gaining on that sport.

It is a well rounded state. People are friendly. We also have a church on almost every corner. My new wonderful family and I live here.
Winters are very cold. I have seen so much snow that I have to stay inside. Our husky would love to play in the snow. I would watch the movie OKLAHOMA! Not many states can say they have a musical named after them.
This wraps up the things I have learned. I intend to dig for more facts to even write a story, but I have unfinished work to do here.
So thanks for your time and I hope that you have enjoyed my blog. I'll try to make the others shorter.
Have a lovely day!

To be asked to join a special group is quite an honor. And in some groups, the organization and its purposes might take a time for the newbie to fall into the routine. I joined a group at school long ago, that related to math, science and music. The members were most of whom I knew from classes. It was wonderful to be closer to them. So here I have an opportunity to do the same with writers who are talented, and experienced in a great world of writers. This groups should be amazing in all aspects of the art of writing, I will be taking time to read the rules and go with the flow.
So thank you for your invitation and acceptance. Let me light the world of novelty and mystery. Thanks again.
