This is my first attempt to be a blogger. I hope to type a few items that you will enjoy.

I do not know where to begin with this description. The time period is from 0 to now. Please don't ask how long that is. I am sure with certain clues, you will be able to figure that out.
I am writing this on my favorite old computer at home. I have a computer room that doubles as a retreat for a few of my pets when they want to be alone.
I will cover mostly current thoughts. I hope to add some pictures as I have seen in a blog. I think that to do this sharing will take a lot of work, but the pictures I have seen are well worth it.
Occasionally, I might review a flashback in mylife. I have times when I just roll that special even around in my mind until it has every possible facet examined. Usually this time is to try to figure out a "what if" scenario.
If some of my items have no zest to it feel free to say so. I think that after I have some a few trial runs, then the real me will be out for all of the world to see. Luck you! As the saying goes, "Come with me and the best is yet to be."

Day 3883 June 30

This year, July is different from any other year.
Our family, especially my brother are expecting a new addition to the members. We already know that the baby will be a girl. Her name should be Lily, which is a nod to her great grandfather who was a master gardener from England. He was one of the best when he came to America.
We have sent a gift of one of the best car seats for infants so she will be safe and travel in style. Both sides of her family tree are so excited that she will be able to have many things that will make her smile and coo when she sees them. This is little lady has a mother who has gone to school for a great education. Her father is intelligent as well.

But I want to add that I love our country and look forward to the Fourth of July. I enjoy the family gatherings. Since many members of my family served in the military, this is a chance to appreciate all of the time they served and the sacrifices they made. I am not into firecrackers but know that children love the noise and displays.

But lastly, I know that we all must be vigilant to problems and those who try to help us stay free and independent. (cue the national anthem). Many of my classmates are gone through their loss of life in wars or diseases. I miss them. And I hope that the next generation and the generation after that, will have it better.

As the song states, “God bless America.”
